Cotto fatto a mano
What it is
An alkaline wax remover based on solvents, surfactants, and composite alkalis.
What it does
Removes old treatments, adhesive residues, and paint from terracotta, klinker, stone, marble, concrete, plaster, porcelain stoneware, and ceramics. It combines the degreasing action of alkaline components with the film-removing power of solvents.
Why it is useful
It is a fast and effective solution compared to traditional alkaline strippers. It can be used pure or diluted in water and adapted to different operational needs.
Instructions for use
Apply the product pure or diluted (1:1–1:3), leave it to act for a few minutes, and work it with hard brushes or a single-disc machine. Emulsify with water and remove residues. Neutralize with a suitable acidic cleaner and rinse thoroughly.
Cotto fatto a mano
What it is
A microemulsion based on silanes, siloxanes, polymers, and anti-algae and anti-mold active ingredients.
What it does
Reduces water absorption and helps prevent the formation of salt efflorescence, mold, and biodeteriogenic growth on indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Key features
It is ready to use and does not alter the appearance of the material. It can also be applied on slightly damp surfaces.
Instructions for use
Apply neat using a brush, pad, or manual sprayer. Do not use compressors. Remove excess product and allow to dry for at least 4–6 hours before further applications.
Cotto fatto a mano
What it is
A water-based microemulsion of high-penetration polymers.
What it does
A single treatment that enhances the material’s tone and creates a uniform wet-look effect, while providing water- and oil-repellent protection against everyday stains such as oil, wine, coffee, and grease.
Why it is practical
One product for both treatment and protection, with good resistance to foot traffic and preservation of substrate breathability.
Instructions for use
Apply on a clean, dry or slightly damp surface. Spread evenly in at least two coats, allowing about 60 minutes drying time between applications. Remove any excess before drying.
