INSTRUCTIONS
ANTI-STAIN FORNACE BERNASCONI is a water-based, breathable, hydro-oil repellent product.
It reduces the absorption of aqueous, oily, and greasy substances. It does not form a film, nor alter the original color or breathability of the material.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it serves as a stain-resistant protector for both flooring and wall coverings. Particularly recommended for handmade terracotta, it can also be used on bricks, stones, non-polished marbles and granites, granulated materials, and cement-based composites.
Apply undiluted on dry or evenly damp material. Easy to apply, being water-based, it can also be applied on floor and wall surfaces that are not perfectly dry, provided they have a uniform appearance (without stains or moisture marks).
Given the high porosity of terracotta, applying ANTI-STAIN FORNACE BERNASCONI also helps to level the surface absorption of the material, making the application of subsequent resin-wax finishes more uniform and preventing halos and areas with different toning.
HOW TO USE
ANTI-STAIN FORNACE BERNASCONI can be used on materials previously treated at least 24/48 hours earlier with deep-penetrating water repellents (WATER REPELLENT ANTI-HUMIDITY ANTIMOLD FORNACE BERNASCONI) to complete the treatment and make the surface water- and oil-repellent.
Apply with a brush, cloth, mop, or even by spraying with a manual sprayer, spreading it evenly and removing any excess. Once dried (1–2 hours), a second coat may be applied if necessary.
For indoor floors, after at least 12 hours, any finishing products (“PRIMER LEVELING” and “PROTECTIVE FINISH”) can be applied.
Avoid applying ANTI-STAIN FORNACE BERNASCONI on very cold or excessively hot surfaces (> 35°C or < 5°C). For periodic and regenerative maintenance of the protection, if used as an external treatment without finishing products, reapply ANTI-STAIN FORNACE BERNASCONI once a year, especially on flooring surfaces subject to heavy traffic. AVERAGE CONSUMPTION
8–10 m² / 1 liter.
