The DIY outdoor terracotta treatment involves 3 simple steps:

1. Cleaning phase: after grouting, apply the strong descaling cleaner either pure or diluted (up to 1:5, depending on how dirty the surface is). Scrub with a stiff non-metallic brush, remove excess liquid, and rinse thoroughly. Once the surface is dry, make sure there are no cement residues or salt efflorescence. If needed, rinse again with clean water and let dry.
2. Apply the water repellent: wait two days for the surface to dry completely, then apply the pure water repellent on a dry or evenly damp surface using a sprayer or brush.
3. Apply the stain repellent: wait another 24 hours, then apply the stain repellent using the same method. Let it sit for 24 more hours. The treatment is now complete!
